Michael Velliquette, Untitled (Sigil for Wealth and Prosperity), 2010

Do you believe in magic? Artpace International Artist-in-Residence 04.1 alum Michael Velliquette has entranced viewers for years. Mixing equal parts of psychic with the psychedelic, Velliquette’s videos, sculptures, and mixed media works display profound focus and intent to every aspect.

As an extension of the exhibition By Permit Only, Velliquette’s Untitled (Sigil for Wealth and Prosperity) (2010) has been wheat-pasted onto our courtyard wall and is on view at Artpace during our gallery hours, noon to 5 pm, Wednesday-Sunday.

But why stop the magic there? Bring the magic home. Velliquette has made available five 30 x 22-inch serigraphs from a limited edition of 50 total prints of the sigil. Summon your own wealth and prosperity via his superb work of contemporary art. Artpace members receive a 10% discount. For pricing and availability, please summon us at 210.212.4900.
