Camp Artpace Summer 2012: Places and Spaces
- Camp Artpace I – for ages 6-8; June12 -15, 2012, 9am to 12pm
- Camp Artpace II – for ages 9 -12; June 19-22, 2012, 9am to 3pm
Want to explore the places and spaces artists live and work, get to meet and work with past and present Artpace artists, and discover fascinating insights about art materials, styles, and techniques?
At Camp Artpace, kids will spend time in the galleries, explore the architecture of Artpace, and experience daily art workshops that focus on how artists share places, spaces, and memories through their work.
Tuition is $150 for Camp Artpace I and $200 for Camp Artpace II and includes snacks and materials (lunch is not provided). Full and partial scholarships are available. Lindsey Smith
Lindsey Smith is the Assistant Curator of Education at Artpace and helps create tours, workshops, and education events for all ages. A native Texan, she enjoys drawing mermaids, fishing or floating in rivers, guacamole, running, and making up improvisational dance moves.
