Earlier this summer, we told you about the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Blue Star Museums Initiative.
Over 1,500 museums across the United States, including Washington, D.C. are waiving admission fees to active duty military personnel and their families. The program began Memorial Day and concludes on Labor Day, September 5, 2011.
More information regarding the Blue Star Museums Initiative can be found on the NEA website.
While Artpace doesn’t qualify as a museum, but rather a laboratory, we would like to remind you that Artpace is always free to the public.
Artpace is open to the public Wednesday – Sunday, 12 pm – 5 pm.
