Jay-Z’s Artpace Connection

The contributions of the influential New York rapper, otherwise known as H.O.V.A., transcend music. Business ventures include launching Rocawear clothing, opening the 40/40 Club, and staking minority ownership in the NBA’s New Jersey Nets.

Well, Jay-Z’s got a new beat.

Recently, Jay-Z launched his “Life + Times” website. Essentially, the lifestyle website highlights persons, places, and things that Jay-Z likes.

For example, the work of Los Angeles native Edgar Arceneaux (IAIR 06.1) was spotlighted in a post titled, “Speaking Without Words.”

Admittedly, I haven’t spent much time on the website, but many visitors have already critiqued it’s a hassle to navigate.
