Making waves

Earlier today, world-renowned British artist Isaac Julien, credited for opening a new dimension in video installation, visited Artpace. (He is pictured here with current International Artist-in-Residence Adam Pendleton.)

Julien, an Artpace alum (IAIR 99.4, HSR 03.4) and member of our Board of Directors, will appear this evening at the Linda Pace Foundation, for a special three-screen edition of Ten Thousand Waves. The event will feature a conversation between Julien and Steven Evans, Executive Director and Curator of the Linda Pace Foundation, followed by a reception and screenings of the work (RSVP only).

The exhibition will be on view at the Linda Pace Foundation through June 30, by appointment.

Julien’s Isaac Julien: Ten Thousand Waves (a nine-screen video installation) is currently featured at The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston through March 4. Read an interview with him on CURRENTS, the ICA blog.
