Tala Madani in frieze

Artpace Artist-in-Residence Tala Madani is featured in the January/February issue of frieze. The magazine visited Madani at her Los Angeles studio, where she spoke about her painting and animation.

Madani (born in Tehran, Iran) is the International Artist-in-Residence here at Artpace for our Spring residency, guest curated by Suzanne Cotter, Director of The Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art in Porto, Portugal. Our Spring Artists-in-Residence—including Adam Putnam (New York) and J. Parker Valentine (Austin)—will debut their new works on Thursday, March 21. On view through May 19.
