Ten Thousand Waves

Over the weekend, the San Antonio Express-News featured a piece on Ten Thousand Waves, the multimedia film installation by artist Isaac Julien, who was recently in San Antonio for the opening of the three-screen edition of the work at the Linda Pace Foundation. You can access the article here.

Concurrent with Ten Thousand Waves, the Foundation also presents TERRAIN, Selected Works from the Linda Pace Foundation Collection. The exhibition includes 21 works by 16 artists, including three works by Julien, an Artpace alum (IAIR 99.4HSR 03.4) and member of the Artpace Board of Directors. TERRAIN is on view through March 31, 2012. Ten Thousand Waves is on view through June 30, 2012.

Visitors must make arrangements in advance by contacting the Foundation and submitting a request, including a prospective date and time. (Wednesday to Friday between noon and 5pm is recommended.) To request an appointment, email visit@pacefound.org.
